Help with Dell Media Direct on an Inspiron 6400/E1505?

I have problems with Dell MediaDirect on my Inspiron 6400/E1505. When I try to boot it when the computer is off. It tries to load, but it just freezes. If I then force the computer to shut down, when I press the power button, it just tries to load up media direct again, so I have to force the computer to shut down, and load up Windows with the media direct key. If I load MediaDirect when Windows is on however, it is fine, and I don't know what to do. I don't have any media direct disks.
MediaDirect is version 4.7.2912, and my lappy has Vista. Please Help!
