Not sure if this is the right category, but I need some help.... some background:
I am a nerdy kid. I play lots of video games, don't get out much, etc. I had no intentions of going to my senior prom but I got asked by a gorgeous girl and I'm a nice guy so I said yes. However, when I go to prom, I am going to be a really really bad date. I don't know any of the music they're going to play and I haven't gone to any of my school dances, so I don't want to and don't know how to dance. I don't want to let my date down. What should I do? Ask my date to find someone else to go with? I played the drums for some time, so I have rhythm so I'm perfectly capable of dancing, I just hate all the music (its all rap, I listen to rock/alt rock) and wouldn't enjoy it.
