My position is "Germany was not responsible for World War 1".
The other side is supporting Britain and blaming Germany for the war.
Which questions can I ask during the 2 minutes of cross-examination that I have to do to my opponents!?

HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED! THE DEBATE IS TOMORROW!

WW1 was not started by Germany. It started with the Francis Ferdinand assassination at Sarajevo. This did start a war between germany and austria vs serbia. Then through tangling alliances many nations joined the fighting within just a few days of each other. Most of the nations did side against Germany which is why it is blamed for the war, but really if that man was not assassinated and there weren't tangling alliances that started with Serbia and Germany then there would have been no WW1.

The link has a time line for the war if that helps you at all. Good luck.
