Can anyone give me some examples of commercials that use the following advertising techniques?
- Avante Garde: "Suggests using this product will put the user ahead of times."
- Bandwagon: "Suggests that everyone is using this product and you should too, in order to fit in."
- Facts and Figures: "Statistics and factual information is used to prove superiority."
- Glittering Generalities: "Weasel words are used to suggest a positive meaning, without a guarantee."
- Hidden Fears: "Suggests that this product will protect the user from danger."
- Magic Ingredients: "Miraculous discovery makes the product effective."
- Plain folks: "Products for ordinary people."
- Snob appeal: "Suggests that the use of this product will make the customer part of an elite group of people."
- Transfer: "Words and ideas with positive connotations are used to suggest that the positive qualities should be associated with the product and user."
