I have a 1991 isuzu rodeo V6. The clutch pedal was reallly soft despite bleeding it. I pulled the trans and installed a new clutch disc pressure plate and release bearing as it was toast. Put it all back together bled it and still same problem although now that I have the new clutch with its thicker disc I cant even put it into gear when the car is running what gives????? I put a new slave cylinder in and STILL same problem. I am positive all the air is out of the line and the bleeder squirts like a geyser while bleeding it. The master cylinder is the only component not brand new but can it be bad even though it seems to be pumping just fine out the slave? Also its all hard lines except for one rubber hose which I have also replaced. There is no leaks and when holding the pedal down for awhile I dont see any drop in the slave plunger meaning its holding whatever amount of pressure it is able to build HELP!!!!!!
