A piston decreases the volume of a cylinder filled with gas Y. What will happen to the pressure of gas Y? Can you think of a way that the pressure could be held constant?

I got the first part, but I don't quite understand the second part. So far, for the question I have this written down:

According to Boyle's Law, pressure varies inversely with volume. This means as volume decreases, pressure increases. Therefore, the pressure of gas Y will increase.
