Help with balancing net ionic equations?

I'm having problems understanding this whole balancing net equation thing... I just can't seem to grasp it... I have two problems on my homework that I'd really appreciate some help with and some understanding as to why the answer is what it is... If any help is possible, it will be greatly appreciated. The two problems are:

Fe(OH)3(s) + H2SO4(aq) -> ?

and

HClO3(aq) + NaOH(aq) -> ?
