i tried installing linux to a external hard drive, which was succsessful, but GRUB (bootloader) installed itself to my internal hard drive, overwriting my current system. now the mac wont boot, and after formating my hard disk and everything, it still wont reinstall.
will this void my apple care plan, and if it does, what story can i give them to avoid voiding the warrenty?
