I've just bought a new laptop and on any given page I have to press Shift+R to get better resolution of pictures, Also when I access a page containing any flash content I have to press Ctrl+F5 to be able to see the flash content.
Is there something I can do so that I get the best resolution of pictures and the flash content without having to do this?

This is my first laptop so I'm unsure if this is the norm.
My internet connection is via a pay monthly O2 USB stick.
