the books are brave new world, anthem, and into the wild. the essay is to draw parallels that link the books thematicly and the authors' individual and collective opinions on the search for perfection. the stories are all about utopias.
so far this is my thesis..
In the novels Brave New World, Anthem, and Into the Wild, the main characters feel as though they do not belong in the society set up for them and are searching to find their personal Utopia.
is it a thesis statement? and do i need to add something about the authors' opinions in my thesis? also, can it be more than on sentance?
oh, also, does it matter if the thesis is the first sentance or can it go anywhere in the introductary paragraph (including the last sentace)?
