Help With a sharp portable stereo?

I recently acquired a sharp stereo radio cassette recorder, model number WQ-T282A(BL). Whilst i was away on holidays my brother used it with the volume very high and this caused the rubber dust seal around the speaker to crack-off and drop to the bottom of the mesh protective cage around the speaker. Now as this is a portable stereo (meaning it has a handle and it can be used with batteries) the speakers are part of the unit and the only way i can remove and replace the rubber seals is to open it from the back. Would i run into any problems like parts flying out when i unscrew and open up the stereo and remove the pieces of rubber in the bottom of the speaker grill??? does anyone have any advice or pictures????
