L Lee New member Mar 12, 2011 #1 I have a 2000 grand prix gt and when I stop the motor starts to get hot. It never gets hot when I'm moving just when I'm stopped. I just put in a new thermostat so I think it might be the water pump. Is there anything else that I should look at?
