The problem reads:
"The mass of each pulley of the system is m and the mass of the suspended object is A is m_A. Determine the force T necessary for the system to be in equilibrium. "
The answer I come up with is
T = (m_Ag)/8 - mg/2
But the answer in the back of the book is
T = (m_Ag)/7 - (4/7)mg
Can someone show me why I am wrong? (If I am at all...)
