I go to the gym a couple of times a week and within the last month or so I have noticed this girl looking at me, checking me out from time to time in the cardio room at the end of my workout. I thought it was nothing at first but she was always staring at me and making eye contact, even when I got off my machine and went to the water fountain. I really think this girl is gorgeous and got the impression that she was interested in me, so I wanted to meet her. So today I saw her there and decided to break the ice, she was on a bike machine and I went and sat next to her and started biking also. The problem is that I couldn't find it in me to say anything, I mean because we were both working out and she had her music on. About 10 minutes into my biking I noticed that she started to pedal faster, so i made a comment "Hey, you're pedaling fast like you're in a race or something." and thats it we spoke for about 30 seconds, I felt so bad because I didn't really even get a chance to introduce myself and tell her my name or get hers. She later got off the bike, wiped it down then sort of waited for me to say goodbye. I turned and waved and she waved back and said "Enjoy." Turns out she went to the treadmill after her bike ride, so a few minutes when I was done I passed by her and waved, then something odd happened and that's why I'm posting this. She waved and smiled but then she sort of chuckled a little bit, and I just kept walking out of the room.
I'd really like to pursue this girl since I broke the ice and I know I'll see her again at the gym because she told me she goes 5 times a week. My problem is that I don't know what to make out of her chuckle/smile at the end and what to do the next time I see her, because she seems to stay in the cardiovascular room and go from machine to machine, never going out into the weight room where I am mostly. What do you guys/girls think I should do next time? Advice? Criticism? Any and all help appreciated.
