Help with a counting formula in excel 2003?

Ok I am trying to count all the occurrences of "Access & Egress" in column F, but only the ones that also have "Jul 10" in column M.
I tried
=SUMPRODUCT((F:F="Access & Egress")*(M:M="Jul 10"))
but i get an error #NUM!

Can anyone help please?
