A solution is prepared by adding 7.66 grams of an unknown compound to 217g of cyclohexane(C6H12). This solution freezes at 2.2 degrees celcius. calculate the molar mass of the compound..

kf = 20.5
freezing point cyclohexane = 6.5

delta T = 6.5 - 2.2=4.3

4.3 = 20.5 x m

m = 0.210 = moles solute / 0.217 Kg

moles solute =0.0456

molar mass = 7.66 / 0.0456 =168 g/mol
