Help with A/C 96 Cadillac Seville?

My Caddy is apparently smarter then me, lol. It has turned off the A/C compressor due to low freon. I tried to install more freon and bypass the low compression switch, but it still wont take any freon.

Help please I'm leaving in the AM to go back home to FL from TN.
