Help with 2000 Toyota Sienna Brake Pad Replacement.?

2000 Toyota Sienna LE

How on Earth to I put the new pads in with those darn little "wishbone springs" attached? Every time I try to put the pad in the spring pops out.

put the springs in the grooves fist then force the pad into place
