I recently bought a 2000 Ford Windstar. It seemed to drive fine up until a few weeks ago. I've noticed that when I get between 40-60mph (like on the freeway) it kinda feels like its cutting out and the RPM's fluctuate slightly. Also, the other day when I was driving it the OD light was flashing. It hasn't done that since. I've heard that this can be a warning sign of transmission failure and am freaking out cause I can't afford to fix that and I can't afford to buy a new car. I have two small children and one on the way and right now can't even come up with the money to take it to a garage to have it checked. Has anyone else had these probs? And if so, what can I do to fix it cheap? Or should I sell it ASAP? Thanks so much for any help!
