Help with 06 Ford F-150 rear axle?

ok so my friends 06 Ford F-150 Lifted 4x4 got hit by the gate at his work he then didn't really think anything of it until his truck started swaying back and forth he then pulled over and the rim was bent so he then changed the tire. Since then his tire sticks out to the right slightly something is either bent or his axle is messed up? Someone please help before he spend way to much money then he has to?
 
if he has enough money to screw up his truck by putting a lift kit under it ( which will significantly shorten the life expectancy of his whole drive train ) then he can afford to have it fixed by someone who knows what the're doing.
