I am trying to book my brother tickets as a birthday gift for a race at Michigan Speedway. The problem is that I don't know which race is better...Lifelock 400 or 3M Performance. I don't know much about Nascar, but I do recoginize some of the names (Jeff Gordon, Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson)...would these racers be at both races?
Also, I am looking at tickets in Turn 3 - Row 55-69...are these good seats?
Thanks!

I been to Michigan once, sat in turn 2. Horrible seats! Couldnt see half the track. I figure be the same in any turn. Sit up high though is smart. Not sure where you live, but if there is a close track other than Michigan, go to it.

The June Race will be more Comfortable--Weather wise. You should be able to see Plenty of action from those seats!!!!!

The June race is usually much cooler (although last June was miserable). That high anywhere would be good seats. However, the bad part with sitting in turn 3 is that you can not see pit road. It is my least favorite place to sit at MIS. As long as you are above row 30 at MIS, you can see the whole track. Row 25 even. I would recommend trying to get seats in turn 4. The frontstretch is the best, but turn 4 is second best. But, like I said, those seats in turn 3 are so high up, they are good, too.

And, yes, those drivers will be at both of those races.

i dont think it matters which race. the june race might be a little cooler but there both good times to go.

Both are Cup races so the same drivers will be there for both. As wrong as it seems the higher up you go the better you can see. From up there you can see the entire track which is nice.

I would go to the June race just because its a little cooler than in August.

All the Cup racers race all the races. I like the June race the best. It gets really hot up the grandstands and June is a little cooler. We've never been rained out yet in 7 years.

Best seats are along the front stretch up high. If you get seats in any section get them as high as you can and then they'll be able to see all the way around the whole track. Michigan can be a pretty boring race especially if all you see are cars whizzing by you for a few seconds.
