HELP!!! What's wrong with my husband!!

For the past 3 months, my husband has been suffering with lightheadedness, weak legs, and the two little holes at the back of his throat has little white dots on them and are as hard a rock. He has been unable to work for the past 3 weeks and is now working on the 4th week off. He is a welder building oil rigs and the noise in the shop is driving him crazy.

Two weeks ago, we went to a Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist, and he gave him 5 days worth of Leviquin 750. He took one pill a day, and it still didn't clear anything up. The doc said it was a strong med, and that he should not need more than the 5 days.

Since he's taken the pills, it seems that things have gotten worse. He has a slight headache on the left side of his head; his left ear hurts a little, but not much; and he has this knot, just below the jaw line on the left side that is about the size of a small lemon.

We are at a lost as to what is going on. All we know is that this dizziness and other symptions are not going away. Can someone please tell us what is wrong and what we should do.

I think he should go for a second opinion.We can't give professional advice,since we are not professionals.I have periodic dizzy spells,but they have been much scarcer
since I take an anti-histimine off the counter.I get these "sponge' ear things which are good in the cold weather,as well as for noise..I have complete empathy for you and your husband. My prayers are with you. Love to all....Bill

Thanks for the advise and your prayers will be welcomed and appreciated. I am calling tomorrow to see if we can get an appointment with another doc in our area. Hopefully he will be able to figure out what is going on and find a way to fix it.

Sounds like the Levaquin didn't do the trick. Since you didn't say what the ENT diagnosed, it's a little hard to say but I guess sinus/ear infection along with possibly tonsillitis (if he still has them)? Sometimes that can take several rounds of antibiotics to clear.
