help! whats the best cruiser motorcycle for a newb?

i had in mind a 2008 Yamaha Star Raider s. is this a good bike. the point is i want to keep it for a while,because i really don't have the money to have to upgrade in the future. im planning to drive responsibly, meaning im not the type that likes to do stunts.thank you.
