HELP! we are thinking about putting my dog in camp bow wow while we go on vacation

do they abuse dogs? i hate the idea that we are leaving my dog in a camp while we go to florida on vacation and i hate people that abuse animals especially dogs. and i want them to treat my dog with extra care cuz a year ago he shattered his elbow and had to get surgery and get metal inside his arm and the vet said if it happens again its only fair to put him to sleep =(
