After updating the software on my newly bought WD SmartWare My Book it suddenly decided to tell me that "There is no writable WD SmartWare partition available on this WD drive. This can occur if you are attempting to write to a WD drive formatted for a different operating system, or if the drive is locked." I searched a bit online for some sort of solution, all of which were saying to erase the My Book partition and format it. Well, I've been trying that but it keeps telling me "Partition failed with the error: File system formatter failed." If anyone can help me, I would be so very grateful.
