Okay I own a very very VERY old Panasonic NV-DS15, i have a new video camera and I had basically forgot about it until recently I was watching some of my old videos filmed on it and decided I wanted to put them onto my computer so I could keep them
problem was the videos are on tapes not discs and I have no sort of usb thing to plug into the computer for it
so i brought a firewire (to usb) for it and it fits into one of the slots of the camera, I plugged it into my mac and nothing came up (i wasn't really that surprised sense it is so old) and then I tried it on an old PC again it wouldnt register the camera
Im kind of stuck on what I am suppose to do next, I have some great moments on the tapes and I really would love to get them onto my computer to keep.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can transfer them onto a computer??
Lauren

It is a windows vista...no idea what year it is. and i don't no if i can add a firewire expansion card :/
and yes i do have a MacBook Pro
Damn so freaking complicated .
also i paid 13 pound for a cable i don't need!!! -.-
