Yesterday my cars steering wheel started locking up on sharper RIGHT turns... only right turns... i can hear some kind of clicking. when it locks up i have to pull with ALL my strength to get it straight. Does anyone know whats the problem and exactly where the problem is?

My car is a 1992 Corolla
i know i should replace the rack n pinnion soon bc its getting pretty bad, the power steering pump seems fine for now...

Rack and pinion or, worn out axel. Is the car power steering? If manual steering you might have a bent shaft in the rack. If it is the axel it is most likely the left side because of the way it torques. Check to see if the CV boot is torn. Dirt can get in the boot and make it hard to turn. Also causes wear.
