Even when I'm not on the internet, or I'm on Mozilla Firefox, I get a random pop up that says Internet Explorer has stopped working, or something to that effect, and it gets a green bar moving back in forth as if trying to process something. And this pop-up comes up all the time, and I've run virus scans with Norton but it hasn't detected anything strange. So, I'm wondering, how do I get rid of this? It drives me insane because sometimes it'll get rid of my desktop icons and my taskbar at the bottom of the screen so I can't get on the internet/get into Word/Media Player, etc. I have a Dell laptop and Windows 7 if that helps. I am very much obliged.
