Help thinking of a debate topic please!?

I have to do a debate in my civic and cultural literacy (basically current events) class. I'm having trouble coming up with a topic that would be on the easy side to debate both sides. The only requirement is that it has to be a serious topic. Any ideas would be great :)
 
Should we get rid of the death penalty?

We debated about that in my business law class. We got deep into it. It was fun. =)

Should we continue fighting in Iraq?
Should we make it easier for immigrants to become citizens?
Should we stop immigrants from becoming citizens?
Should we find a way to stop people from coming over the border illegally?

There are alot of questions really. Just find a topic you are really interested in and find an opinion on it. Then go along with it. Research it, then you can make your point. =D
