Is anyone getting a message " n:m=1=17" from a number 10476000000 ?? It is driving me crazy and T-Mobile has no idea what it is or where it is coming from.. It started when I got my Curve and hasn't stopped...constant, all day, every day... When I tried to ask who was sending me the message..it will not allow me to send and will not allow me to forward....any ideas????

Thank you for any help you can give me..

Did you change numbers when you got your curve or is this the same phone number you were using previously? Were you using a BB before you got your curve?

Can you reply to it and, if so, type unsubscribe and see if it continues? It is probably from a "commercial" type line such as messaging a game show or a number off of a TV commercial.

No, it's the same number...I had a curve before but gave it to my boyfriend in February and had been using a Motorola until I got my new Curve the end of March...

If you have Yahoo email setup on BIS, I would try deleting it and adding it back and see if that helps. Seems I read about this somewhere before and the issue was Yahoo email.

Yup, my next suggestion was possibly an email account you had setup on the previous phone and you just did a PIN change. If you have a BIS account, delete any emails accounts you have setup, re-add them one-by-one and see if that resolves the issue.

After you delete the accounts, resend your service books, after about 5 minutes, do a battery pull, log back in to your BIS, re-add your accounts. This will help ensure your BB recognizes the accounts are gone and then sees them as new accounts coming back in.

Sometimes you just have to fake it out...

I have only heard of that as it refers to SPAM where if you are on a blacklist, you are blocked from sending to a specific person (usually business related) and whitelisted means the firewall doesn't check for possible spam no matter the # of recipients, things like that.

Not sure if that is the reference or not...
