Okay, I have a Mazda 94' and I changed the starter on it, And since I did it's been giving me a loud grinding noise. And when I take the starter off again it's grinned the teeth of the starter.
How would I go about shimming it, I read that might help it. So How do I shim the starter?
Also I used a Ford Starter on it, Mazda was created by Ford so I figured that would work. Am I using the right starter for it?
the Starter was identical tot he old one though and the old one didn't give that problem.
