Help setting up wi-fi on my phone?

I am trying to set a modem connection from my phone to my pc to get wi-fi

first it asks for a modem, I have a choice to select from
-Cellular Line
-Cellular line{GPRS, 3G, HSDPA)
-Generic IrDA
Hayes Compatible on COM1


then it says enter the number exactly as it should be dialed. include any extra numbers, such as an outside line or credit card.

What number is this talking about?
I have the
-Physical Address
-IP Address
-Subnet Mask
-Default Gateway
-DHCP Server
-Lease Obtained
-Lease Expires
-DNS Server
-WINS Server

my phone IS wi-fi capable
I'm not stupid
the damn thing has a wi-fi on/off button ><

so please dont try to tell me it isnt wifi capable like others have
and my phone picks up the connection

i just need that info for it to connect
