I just bought a used 05 Colorado and the check engine light keeps coming on giving the code of a low emissions leak, and the fuel cap warning reads on the display. Other than having the guy clear the light every other week how do we fix this problem?
Also the vehicle came from Michigan where I know they use lots of salt on the roads but the undercarriage is significantly rusted. Is this a cause for concern? Is there any way to keep this from happening more? I'm afraid the vehicle is going to rust into pieces.
