Ok. I went to The Comfort Inn for my birthday in September with my boyfriend, and just recently the guy who checked us in at the front desk just started texting my phone. He was playing games and trying to make me guess who he was. I honestly had no idea who he was. Then he told me he worked at the front desk at the hotel, and I had never given him my phone number. I know that the ONLY way he got my number was from when I listed it when I checked in. So this is my question: aren't there any privacy laws against that? Shouldn't that be illegal to go through someone's files and practically stalk them? This guy is such a creep-o. This guy doesn't get the point that I HAVE A BOYFRIEND and i'm clearly not interested in him. He constantly texts me, and I don't want to pay a fee for changing my number (AT&T sucks!) This guy has access to all my information (including my address! scary!) so is there anything I can do or would I be able to pursue any legal action? And if so, how would I go about in doing so? Please help!
