I am 40years old female. Please help!! I am suffering from Prednisone reaction.
I have very itchy rash on my both arm and neck, my face is red, burn, dry and itch. This is what happen to me .
July 13th I touched poison Ivy,start having rash on my both ankle
14th Family doctor prescribed Prednisone 60mg for 5days
20th Rash came up to my thigh, arms and ears
July 24th Dermatlogist prescribed Prednisone (40mg-3days,30mg-3days,20mg-3days,10mg-3days,5mg-3days)
Aug 2nd My face became very red and round ,I could not open my left eye.
Emergency Doctor told me to stop taking Prednisone.
Aug 3rd Dermatlogist said it is reaction from Prednisone and I stop taking it.
Aug 8th I still have red and itchy rash on my arm, my face is red ,burn,dry and itchy.
Detmatlogist want me to use the another steroid, but I am so scare to use it. I just get rid off Steroid from my body.Is this reaction normal from coming off steroid? I am just so sad. I am feeling like that I went to see a doctor to become sick.
Please give me any suggestion or advice. Again I do not want to use any steroid .Thank you.
