Hi everyone,
It has been a while since I was on here last time and I am having some problems. I am still waiting for a surgery date, we all know how fun that is.
This is going to sound really bad and I am erabarased to even ask, but here it goes.
I have been having major pain when releaving myself in the bathroom. Not when I go pee but the other. I almost have to get myself into a lying down position to go. I am not constipated, I know how that feels. The pain is tremendous in my lower back when I have to go and even worse when I am going. Does anyone know why?
Also I have been noticing that over the last little while that my right foot is starting to drop a little bit when I am walking. I have talked with my family doc about this and she says it is because my back problems are progressing. So this is scaring me a little bit to say the least.
Please help.

I would definately go and see Spinal Ortho and would go from there. If you in pain, it means your body tells you something is wrong.
Making an app i think would be a good idea. I have back problems, surgeries, etc. I don't have same experience as you do, but we all very different and have different problems.

I am glad you came to this board; People here will be able to help you and answers your questions.

Best of luck!

I would phone my consultant straight away. Phone leave a message with his secretary if you cant speak to him yourself. Just say you are concern as now your bladder is affected now and you are concern.

I was told if my bladder etc was ever effected, had difficulty or suddenly couldnt hold on to it, go straight to out patients. Dont mean to alarm you but just make that call, at least it will put your mind at ease.

Round1

Hi, I had terrible pain in that area when I had severe sciatica. Just to try to push felt like a knife was in there and I was pretty constipated, though I was not even taking any pain meRAB at the time. I kept taking stool softeners & other things to try to help it along, but it really was awful, so I sympathize for you. One time I almost was going to go to the ER b/c I thought it was impossible for it come out. And it also made my sciatica hurt more, though I don't recall if it caused pain in my low back, it was all in the rectum area. I'm not a doctor, but in my opinion, it seems like it might be related to a spine problem. At that same time with my sciatica, almost my entire left foot was nurab. My problem ended up being in the L5/S1 area....

I have had sciatica for almost 20 years now. I never had bowel problems until recently. Not painful but it seems like when the back pain starts up, the muscles that do the work when you do the movement do not seem to do their thing and I end up having to push. Also not really constipation, just no help from the bowel muscles.

If you are in pain, I also advise you go get it checked out. If mine ever gets to that point, I will be doing so myself.

Lindaru ;)
