HELP PLEASE!!!! Blackberry 8350i curve 3G speeds on Nextel?

I was thinking of purchasing the blackberry curve from Nextel but i was wondering if it had 3g? I was also looking at the curve that boostmobile is going to release but i am not sure if its going to be any different than nextels features. I was also wondering are text messages faster to receive and send on the blackberry 8350i curve compared to any other nextel phone?, because i have had some experiences with nextel phones and they take an eternity just to send or receive a text message.
 
no i had one.(8350i) i had it for bout a year.it took 2 hours to send and receive text.no 3g speeds.nextel is on the iden network.your not on the same freqency wit the 8350i.trust me ive had hybird phones and powersource phones,the best phone ive ever had was the pre or palm pixi....web OS baby the best there is and that is 3g....wappers do it wit passion wap on
