Help picking out an easy to use MEDIA PLAYER?

I have been looking online, talking to friends and comparing reviews for media players. But I am confused.
I want one that is simple to use. I want one that I can transfer a file onto WITHOUT having to convert it. I want one that is easy to upload to.
If you know of one let me know. A link would be awesome. Thanks to everyone in advance.
