HELP PALM TREO 700W VERIZON?

when i go into my messages, i can see my inbox or received messeges, but i have no idea of how to see my sent messages. also, i thought with the palm you were able to veiw your messages in a thread like the iphone or other windows mobile phones? any settings i can do to make this wotk? please help!
