help on the jews laws about tattoos

My family is telling me that I will not be allowed to be buried with the family because of a tatto I got after an accident that I got hurt very bad. The heart symboled the hurt and the knot is the pain that i still feel. Now still I am being punshed more NEED SOME HELP.
 
According to God's law - tattoos are a NO.
According to Jewish law - tattoos are a NO. Especially marking your body in memory of the dead.
Your family is correct and your family cares about you best interests.
According to good taste - tattoos are a NO.
