Okay I did a lab where a cart was on a track and was pulled by a falling mass. I just want to know how I should answer each question thanks!
1. How does your distance(position) vs time grpah compare to the computer generated graph?
2. How does the distance traveled on the track compare to the area under the velocity vs time graph?
3. How does your acceleration vs time graph compare to the computer generated graph?
4.Use the linear fit option to determine the acceleration during the 1 part of the run? During the 2nd part? How do these compare to what you calculated in your sketch?
5. Was it clear when the cart hit the bumper? How did you determine this or, in other words, what aspect of the graph tells you this?
6. Was it clear when the hanging mass hit the ground? How did you determine this? Or, in other words, what aspect of the graph tells you this?
7. Your graph should clearly indicate 2 types of motion. Describe them and tell me what you can say about the forces involved in the 2 types of motion of the cart?
