Help on Gas pressure testing for outdoor grill and fire pit?

I made an outdoor fire pit and BBQ and connected to a gas pipe stud on the side of the house. I have about 40ft of pipe roughly with a few corners, tees, and connections.
I have been reading since the pipe is just 1/2in (small) then the pressure test should be at 10psi and as long as it holds pressure for 15 minutes Im good. The overnight tests (I have read on many sites and blogs) are for much larger gas pipe.

So which test do I use, is the10psi at 15min good enough since gas is such low pressure?

No leak in gas is a good leak as a licensed plumber i test all of my gas lines at 100lbs overnight the best way to locate a leak is to put dish soap and water in a spray bottle and spray every connection. It will make bubbles if it is leaking. Also make sure that when you are testing that you are isolated from any appliance regulator because the pressure will destroy the ruber seats in the regulators. Forget what the codes say make sure you dont have leaks for your own safety PUMP IT UP
