Help on creating a itunes account?

I got an itunes card and wanted to get some new songs. I went to the computer and my mom told me that i'd have to create an account because if not the money will go on hers. I can't create my own account because it asks for a credit card number and I don't have a credit card. What should I do. Please Help!
