ok this is the deal my boss has the 6 speed manual and my brother in law has the four speed with overdrive i think my boss has 3.54 and bro has 3.73. i might be wrong my boss gets about 15mpg but bro has been getting 22 mpg. so would this stament also be true? with the 6 speed you have an overal gear ratio of 2.72 with 3.73 gears, 4 speed auto has a overal gear ratio of 2.57 with the same 3.73 gears so that means auto gets beter mpg... i know for a fact that they could chang six speed manual 2nd gear to the first, and change all the other gears down and put another lower gear ratio for the final 6th gear... i think anyway
