Any help on this would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
2 years ago I put my car on the road, after about a month I was driving to work, missed a red light, slammed on my breaks but it was tooo late, an SUV hit me and I hit a tree head on. My car was totaled in the collision. The other driver had scratches to his vehicle and my insurance covered the damage. my car went to the junk yard that day So I had to cancel my insurance policy. Now 2 years later I am trying to get car insurance for a different vehicle and No one will even quote me =( because I have 1 accident and a lapse of insurance on my record.
the only one who will quote me is the company I was previously with and they want $450.00 a month and $900 upfront!!!?!?!!!!
If anyone has any helpful advise on what I can do to get car insurance PLLEEEAAAASE I AM BEGGING YOU HELP ME

Also, I have never had any violations besides this accident and took driving classes and a defensive course.
