help...newbie.."data connection refused"

hi all, is there a way to get rid of this message showing up top?? I am not on a data plan as of yet...any info greatly appreciated..

Without a data plan Markryandavi, I don't think you can remove that message, sorry.

Go to Options>Network and select "Off" for Data Services... do a battery pull, and that should do the trick!
