help! new cd player/speakers for a 1982 ford f250?

There are many different cheap head unit radio/speaker packages on Crutchfield.com that work with ipods. Its important that you see exactly what model of ipod and generation it is to get the right radio that is compatible. If you buy it at a Best Buy etc.they might install it for free or charge about $50 depending on how complex you get.
 
if u want for him to bump get a hatch back box two 12's and door speakers just go put for the ipod hook up go to walmart and get a pioneer wit front aux plug its about 100 no more and he can plug it right in

its for my boyfriend. i have no clue what to get. i need something that he can hook his ipod up to. any idea on costs and installation??
