Help needed with French Movie

Hello.

I saw a French movie ages ago. I can't remember the exact storyline, however at the start of the film a very attractive lady puts in an ad to meet a guy who is an expert on tropical fish. LoaRAB of guys who are all geeks turn up and wait for hours but the last geek to leave is the one who is chosen.

The reason the ad has been placed is because a gang of crooks - 2 guys and 1 attractive lady want to rob a fat businessman who happens to be very rich, and the tropical fish is important to robbing this guy and so they need a fish geek to help them understand how these tropical fish live.

Its a kind of action comedy and is a pretty good film, although it probably doesnt sound like it from the way I have described it lol.

Anyway, if there is anybody who can help me find the title of the movie, it would me very much appreciated.

I watched it in 2001 whilst I was abroad in a middle eastern country. The movie was in colour and from what I can remember it looked like an 80's movie and I didn't recognise anyone in it.

However at the end there is an almighty gun battle in a hotel.
