Help needed with Customer Service/Tech Support

Hi,
So here is my issue...my wife got a new phone and we swapped the ESN no problem, her phone works just fine. The person we gave the old phone to cannot activate it because it is still somehow "attached" to my wifes account. I call Cricket and explain this and they dont seem to understand, they tell me the ESN in the system is the old one and a different phone cannot possibly be working with her nuraber. I tried to escalate to a "Supervisor" but they said the same thing.

What can I do to get them to understand the issue and correct it? How can their system show one ESN and the phone have another and work just fine?

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't bother calling Cricket. I would take it to a Cricket store and they can help you out more.

Another problem may be that the ESN on the phone doesn't match the one on the sticker. I get this all the time. I end up repairing the ESN and the problem is solved.

I hope this helps out. For future reference, I rarely call Cricket as the wait time is forever and then the customer service rep doesn't even help you out. I think they discourage us from calling their customer service department.
