My wife is in a business with this lady who lives in another city and runs the restaurant there. We own 50% of it, yet she is lying about how much it makes and making fake receipts and refuses to do anything and she is also hiring illegals and not documenting anything. We need to shut this thing down until we get things straightened out.
What can we do? Can we have the restaurant shut down somehow while we sort this out? Do we have that power? She is not just stealing from us, but the government and not paying sales tax. We need to find a way to stop this business until we legitimize the place.
